Tools for anonymous blogging

- Firefox (several key browser plugins are only designed for this browser. hence this is essential)

- Public email (remember to cover your anonymity, when registering and using these email.)
hushmail (with encryption), gmail, yahoo

- Tor network. (this is all in one package Vidalia + tor + Privoxy)
currently the most effective way to have untraceable IP on the net. You would also need to understand how this work with other softwares (browsers, bitorrent clients, IM, IRC, etc)
