A company official said that the PMG-250 provides users with enhanced stability by adopting Amtel's ARMCORE 9 CPU. It features 2.5-inch LCD, dual speaker, and three buttons and it supports 2GB memory and SD card slot with which users are available to store high capacity data. Suggested price is 169,000(KRW). (this one has first arm 9 chipset out in the market. tho' it seems to be more a gaming platform. but it has enough computing power to do mpeg.)

Hearing that Intel now has a relatively fond view of Linux is far from surprising, especially considering that the chipmaker already has quite a few open-source projects out in the open. To help consolidate its efforts and spearhead future developments, Intel has apparently launched the Mobile & Internet Linux Project website, which showcases a number of ideas to improve "power management, user interfaces, use of wireless networks, web browsing, chatting, and software development for mobile devices." Intel is reportedly hoping to garner interest from external programmers such as those found at Canonical and Red Flag Linux, who have both signed on already for the ride. iriver's new W10 caught a bit of unexpected competition today as SanDisk's Sansa View and it isn't even out of the gate yet, but it definitely appears that a new category is emerging: the portable media player with touchscreen and PDA like functionality. It all comes full circle, dunnit? This WiFi-equipped pseudo-GPS-enabled media players has one of the highest resolution screens in its class (480 x 272 at 3-inches), 8GB of memory, miniSD, FM tuner, H.264, WMV, and so on.
